Mapumba Cilombo is a versatile musician and producer with over two decades of professional experience in South Africa, operating between Cape Town and Johannesburg. He expertly blends Soul, Afropop, Folk, and Ambient genres, offering a unique and enriching sonic experience.
He is a multilingual vocalist who performs primarily in Swahili and English, incorporating other languages for artistic depth. Highly dedicated to the craft through continuous performance, recording, and music education, aiming to create moments that leave audiences with a lasting sense of well-being.

Tours
Since 2000, Mapumba has toured locally and internationally.  He was a featured artist on Putumayo Compilation CDs and toured for them in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. He has also performed in countries across Africa and Europe.

Recordings
Mapumba has over twelve albums and multiple singles released through music aggregators and available on Bandcamp. He has featured with artists such as Zolani Mahola, Dino Moran, Steff La Cheff, and Dassin Makombo. Chilu Lemba, KB Motsilanyane.

Other
Mapumba served as a freelance TV presenter for a travel magazine program called Studio 53. Within that period, he was also a continuity VJ on Channel O. This work brought him closer to voice-over work as a Swahili speaker, a French speaker, or an English speaker with an African accent.
