Hello and welcome !

I am a musician and producer based in South Africa between Cape Town and Johannesburg. My music is a blend of Soul, Afropop, Folk and Ambient music. I sing in Swahili and English. I also touch on French and other languages that add flavour to a great project.

I believe Music is Life. And giving my life to make music, and things that are related to it, has been a natural thing for me. 

I do this work by learning and doing performances, recordings and whenever I get the right opportunity, I also educate.

I was named Dieu-Merci Laurent Mapumba Cilombo at birth in the small town of Kolwezi in the DR Congo. I did my my high school education in Zambia before coming to South Africa in the year 2000 to be part of this profession.
